Jackie McCosh Benefit

Jackie McCosh, retired Harford County teacher and member of the Deer Creek Chorale, suffered a severe spinal cord injury on May 30, 2009 and was paralyzed just below her shoulders as a result.

On
Saturday, December 12, 2009, during our concert, the Chorale sponsored a Silent Auction benefit for The Jackie McCosh Supplemental Trust, to raise money
to buy her a wheelchair-accessible van.

Thanks to the generosity of our incredible auction item donors and fabulous bidders, and the many who made cash contributions, we exceeded our $25,000 goal by over $13,000!  Jackie and Andy are now the proud owners of a wheelchair-accessible van that can transport Jackie safely, and allow her to resume many of the activities that she loves.

Ongoing contributions for this cause are encouraged , with checks payable to:

The Jackie McCosh Supplemental Trust, 20586 Ridge Meadow Rd.,  Stewartstown, PA 17363
