MISSION

The Deer Creek Chorale was established to provide an opportunity for choral artistry, community service and
personal enrichment. The Chorale seeks to develop
the potential of singers at all levels of exp
erience.

The Deer Creek Chorale and Director Marty Banghart bring the beauty of choral music to the greater Baltimore area. The
eclectic array of programming
appeals to the musical taste of all. Chorale
performances include traditional choral music,
lively pops offerings, seasonal celebrations,
and a growing repertoire of major choral works.

"I can't think of anything I would rather be doing
than
touching people's hearts
and minds through
the power of song.”

                                                                                                  Martha Banghart, Music Director

With another exciting new season ahead, and past performances including New York City's Carnegie Hall, a choral tour of China and the Inscription of Hope benefit, the Chorale has established itself as an exciting, flourishing arts organization.

This organization is assisted by grants from the Maryland State Arts Council and the Harford County
Government through the Harford County Cultural Arts Board. The Deer Creek Chorale is a member
of the Harford County Center for the Arts.
